Dutch American Foods, Inc. is a privately held company, family owned and operated by the Van Baren family for over 3 decades. The business originally began as a blender and packager of breading mixes, batters and marinades under its own DAF label.

In its effort to grow, Dutch American began private labeling products and producing specialty products and dry ingredient blends for all segments of the food industry through a distributor / broker network.

As the custom blending and packaging segment of the business grew, Dutch American began concentrating on co-packing and blending custom products rather than strictly pursuing its own label business. Since this has taken place, Dutch American Foods has grown to be recognized as a quality dry food processor in the Chicago-land area with a reputation for speedy turnaround time, superb work, and very competitive pricing.
